This 1954 Cliff May Rancho renovation included a dramatic kitchen update. All of the new cabinetry painstakingly duplicated the original millwork design and finish while incorporating modern conveniences of full extension drawer guides, pull-out cabinet trays for easy access and tilt-out undersink trays. The massive concrete counters are seeded with decorative aggregate and ground to a fine terrazzo finish. The matching cast concrete backsplashes complete a beautiful but highly utilitarian workspace. One of the greatest strengths in our concrete work is the high level of carpentry skill we bring to the project. Cast pieces can only be as good as the forms they are cast in. We pay extra attention to details like sink cutouts and backsplash layout: details that elevate the work beyond mere functionality.
	This 1927 home recieved this full gourmet kitchen remodel with cabinetry identical in detail to the original designs of that era. The construction features dovetailed European beechwood drawers and pullout undercounter trays, under sink tilt-out trays and a wonderfull pull-out butcher block. Design features true to the era include the use of inset doors with full-mortise ball-tipped hinges, toe-kickless cabinet boxes and the saloon door under-sink opening. Just because you want all of the luxury and utility of modern appliances and features you don't have to sacrifice elegant or architecturally appropriate design.
